The collision-energy dependence of both product energy and angular mom
entum disposal of the HHL B + OH --> BO + H and Be + HF --> BeF + H re
actions has been analysed in the light of the CPOAM (constant product
orbital angular momentum) model, which allow estimates of the division
of angular momentum disposal between product rotation and orbital mot
ion. We have carried out the analysis by introducing the dependence of
reaction cross section (sigma(R)) on translational energy (E(trans))
through different excitation function models. Results thus obtained ha
ve been compared with those corresponding to three-dimensional (3D) qu
asiclassical trajectory (QCT) calculations on the corresponding potent
ial energy surfaces (PES).
