We have compared the kinetics of the formation and reduction of three
types of chemisorbed oxygen species, absorbed oxygen, and phase oxides
and used this analysis as a basis for the identification of energy in
homogeneous and energy homogeneous oxygen species, as well as for the
determination of distribution spectra of these species with respect to
their chemisorption energies. We have also considered intertransition
s and interactions of the formation and reduction fluxes of various ox
ygen forms and the manner of their stabilization in the electrode matr
ix.
