Abstract
Electrochemical properties of phenazine derivatives such as phenazine ethosulfate (N-ethyldibenzopyrazonium ethosulfate), phenosafranine (3, 7-diamino-5-phenylphenazonium chloride), and safranine T (3,7-diamino- 2,8-dimethyl-5-phenyiphenazonium chloride) were studied by thin layer voltammetry on pyrographite electrode. pH-potential diagrams of these redox systems were plotted. The values of standard potentials and pK o f ionization for every redox and acid-base equilibria between conjugat ed species were derived.
