Abstract
The synthesis of two new 1,1'-bis(phospholano)ferrocene ligands are de scribed. Preliminary catalytic studies showed that enantioselectivitie s as high as 83% ee could be achieved in the hydrogenation of several model olefin, ketone, and hydrazone substrates.
