Abstract
The MMPI-168, Marlowe-Crowne, and Shipley were administered to 14 Cauc asian couples as part of a pre-adoption screening procedure. The sampl e of adoption applicants was well educated and of above-average intell igence. Test data indicated a high level of defensiveness. Implication s for test interpretation are discussed.
