Abstract
Rh-2(OAc)(4) catalysed decomposition of vinyldiazocarbonyl compounds i n the presence of organosilanes led stereospecifically to the correspo nding allylsilanes in good yields. An asymmetric approach has also bee n considered as well as the extension of the methodology to the synthe sis of other allylic systems.
