Abstract
A new cyclic hexapeptide, segetalin A, showing estrogen-like activity, has been isolated from the seeds of Vaccaria segetalis; and the struc ture was elucidated by extensive 2D NMR, chemical and enzymatic degrad ations and ESI-MS/MS methods.
