A method for the determination of phosphorous in soil by use of a robo
tic station is proposed. The overall process involves automation of st
eps such as weighing, leaching, filtration, derivatizing reaction, mea
surement, data collection, and treatment. Also, the preparation and me
asurement of standards for calibration are developed by the robot. The
results provided by the proposed method are highly consistent with th
ose obtained by using the standard manual method. Its throughput is 4
samples h-1.
