Abstract
From 1981 to 1989 Ehrlichiosis raged in two Corsican military dog kenn els causing the death of 18 dogs. Seroprevalence surveys made it possi ble to see how the infection evolved and to estimate the impact of dox ycycline treatment on seropositive dogs. The annual incidence rate dro pped from 40 per cent to 10 per cent in risk populations.
