Abstract
This study examined the relationship between tenure and turnover rates for librarians in academic libraries. Survey forms were sent to 124 c ollege and university library directors. The authors found no signific ant correlation between the two. However, there does seem to be a rela tionship between scholarly publishing requirements and turnover rates.
