Abstract
A series of beta-cyclodextrin (beta-CyD) was immobilized onto the cros slinked styrene/divinylbenzene copolymer which embedded polyglycidylme thacrylate. The resulting beta-CyD polymeric adsorbent possesses a spe cific inclusion recognition with the aromatic compounds. The structure s and properties of the grated copolymer were characterized in detail. Their application for the adsorption of phenol and its derivatives wa s also assessed.
