Mr. Neiman et al., CONCURRENT VALIDITY OF THE KAUFMAN HAND MOVEMENT TEST AS A MEASURE OFLIMB APRAXIA, Perceptual and motor skills, 79(3), 1994, pp. 1279-1282
The concurrent validity of the Kaufman Hand Movement Test as a measure
of limb apraxia was investigated. For 23 adult aphasic subjects, a Pe
arson r of 0.84 was obtained between scores on this test and on the Li
mb Apraxia Test, a battery of tasks often used in the assessment of li
mb apraxia. The Kaufman test is a shorter and simpler test to administ
er than the Limb Apraxia Test. The concurrent validity of the Kaufman
test encourages it use in the assessment of limb apraxia.
