A NEW PREDICTIVE RELATION FOR TERNARY EXCESS VOLUMES

Excess volume data, reported in the literature, have been analyzed in light of a new predictive expression which estimates the ternary prope rties from measured binary data. The analysis shelved that the new equ ation gives an accurate estimate of the excess property for mixtures p ossessing only dispersion forces. The predictions are also comparable to those computed from relations derived previously.
