Abstract
A 4-day-old Holstein heifer presented with a right distal radius and u lna fracture. Repair of the open, comminuted, short oblique, distal di aphyseal fracture was made using a trans-articular Type If external sk eletal fixator. The fixator was applied using centrally threaded, posi tive profile pins. The fractures healed 8 weeks after fixation.
