L. Dreyer et al., BILATERAL LARGE-CELL CALCIFYING SERTOLI-CELL TUMOR OF THE TESTES WITHPEUTZ-JEGHERS SYNDROME - A CASE-REPORT, Pediatric dermatology, 11(4), 1994, pp. 335-337
A 13-year-old boy with Peutz-Jeghers syndrome (PJs), gynecomastia, and
bilateral multifocal testicular tumors is described. Histology of the
testicular tissue disclosed large-cell calcifying Sertoli cell tumors
. Females with PJs are known to be at increased risk of developing gon
adal tumors. This case and a review of other reported cases suggest th
at males with PJs are also at risk for developing gonadal tumors.
