Dielectric constant and loss factor measurements have been performed i
n triglycine sulfate single crystals at the vicinity of the Curie temp
erature (T(c)almost-equal-to48.5-degrees-C) as a function of ac drivin
g field (20 -than-or-equal-toupsilonless-than-or-equal-to10(6) Hz) in
a wide range of field amplitude (50greater-than-or-equal-to E(o) great
er-than-or-equal-to 0.15 V/cm). Well defined shifts of loss factor pea
k (D(max), increasing monotonously with the field, not previously repo
rted as far as we know, were observed and analyzed in terms of the ene
rgy dissipated within the vanishing hysteresis loops at Talmost-equal-
toT(c) corresponding to E(o)almost-equal-toE(c)(T), coercive field.
