Abstract
After the complete disintegration of large meteoroids or small asteroi ds or cometary nuclei that have not the structural and compressive str ength to survive the aerodynamic pressure and stress during the penetr ation in the dense part of the atmosphere, only a few methods to recon struct the chemical composition of the parent meteoroid exist. The des cribed methods of using natural or artificial sticky traps, were teste d on two of such events: Tunguska 1908 (natural traps) and Emilia 1993 (artificial traps). Here the preliminary results of the former are de scribed.
