Abstract
This article is an attempt to describe the relevance of microsystem te chnology (mst) towards instrumental analysis. As an example of a total analytical microsystem a wearable glucose monitor intended for in viv o subcutaneous glucose measurements is described. As a second example a novel micro electrode array is presented which can be used as a sub- sensor for over 100 different biosensors using oxygenases.
