Screening dependence of transition temperature T-c of In-based alloys
of six:elements at different compositions has been studied by employin
g linear potential due to Sharma and Kachhava (Solid State Commun, 30
(1979) 749). It is observed that out of the nine different forms of th
e dielectric screening used, RPA and modified Hubbard forms of the scr
eening provide the best agreement with the experimental data as well a
s with the other theoretical results on other potentials. Values of is
otope effect exponent a and interaction strength N-0 V have also been
reported for these alloys by using RPA and modified Hubbard forms of s
creening, providing best T-c values with the linear potential. It is o
bserved that an overall best explanation of superconducting state para
meters of In-based alloys is provided by RPA form of screening.
