Abstract
Calcium- and barium-rich forms of the zeolite paulingite were studied by X-ray single crystal methods. The refinements converged to wR=0.085 and 0.077. It was possible to interpret most of the pore-filling in t erms of occupancies by various cations and of hydrogen bonded water mo lecules. A new description of the framework structure of paulingite in terms of Smith's polyhedral building units is given.
