THE 1994 FLORIDA AI RESEARCH SYMPOSIUM

The 1994 Florida Al Research Symposium was held 5-7 May at Pensacola B each, Florida. This symposium brought together researchers and practit ioners in AI, cognitive science, and allied disciplines to discuss tim ely topics, cutting-edge research, and system development efforts in a reas spanning the entire AI field. Symposium highlights included Pat H ayes's comparison of the history of Al to the history of powered fligh t and Clark Glymour's discussion of the pre history of AI.
