Abstract
A study made of the equation [GRAPHICS] in a bounded domain Omega subs et of R(N) (N greater than or equal to 3) eith homogeneous Dirichlet b oundary conditions. Here 2 < p < 2N/(N - 2) and 2 gamma > 2N - (N - 2) p. Sharp best possible a priori estimates are established for the solu tion of this problem and for its first and second derivatives in the c orresponding function spaces.
