Abstract
Previously undescribed iridoid glycosides were isolated from Penstemon species as follows: P. parryi: 8-epitecomoside or 7 beta-hydroxyplant arenaloside, 2'-0-coumaroyl-8-epitecomoside and 2'-0-coumaroylplantare naloside, and P. barrettiae: 2'-0-foliamenthoylplantarenaloside. Detai led high held NMR assignments were made for durantoside-I which was is olated from P. glaber.
