Abstract
In addition to several widespread plant constituents and two closely r elated germacranolides, chromatographic fractionation of the extract o f the aerial parts of Ajania fruticulosa afforded a minor new sesquite rpene lactone whose structure was established as 1 alpha,4 alpha,10 al pha-trihydroxy-9 alpha-angeloyloxy-guai-2,11(13)-dien-12,6 alpha-olide . Furthermore, detailed NMR data of ketopelenolide b were added.
