Abstract
Masticadienonic acid (E- and Z-forms), 3 alpha-hydroxy-7,24Z-tirucalla dien-26-oic acid and two novel triterpenoids, dysoxylic acids A and B, have been isolated from the hexane extract of the wood and bark of Dy soxylum pettigrewianum. Structures were determined using H-1, C-13 and 2D NMR techniques.
