Abstract
The structure of gratioside, one of the main cucurbitacin glycosides f rom Gratiola officinalis assumed to be ide)-25-hydroxy-9-methyl-19-nor lanost-5-en-11-one, is revised to (3 beta,9 beta,10 ucopyranosyloxy)-9 -methyl-19-norlanost-5-en-11-one on the basis of one- and two-dimensio nal NMR spectroscopy.
