A new zincophosphate Zn(H2PO4)(2)HPO4.H2N2CgH12 was obtained at room t
emperature form a ZnO/P2O5/R/H2O mixture, R being the dabconium cation
. The crystal structure was determined by single crystal X-ray diffrac
tion. The symmetry is orthorhombic a = 0.9777(2) nm, b = 1.0640(2) nm,
c = 1.5384(3) nm, space group P2(1)2(1)2(1). The structure consists o
f parallel (Zn(H2PO4)2-O-P(OOH)-O-) chains loosely interconnected thro
ugh the dabconium cations.
