Abstract
The structure of the title compound, [Fe(C5H5)(C13H10S2)].PF6, (I), ha s been studied. The dihedral angle between the outer benzene rings of the ligand is 137.7 (3)degrees; the benzene and Cp rings are nearly pa rallel to each other [dihedral angle 3.5 (5)degrees]. The Fe atom, whi ch is located inside the fold of the heterocyclic ligand, is closer to the benzene ring [1.548 (3) Angstrom] than the Cp ring [1.668 (7) Ang strom].
