Abstract
The title compound, [Ag(NH3)(2)](2)[Ni(C2H3N3O2)(2)].- 6H(2)O, consist s of planar [Ni(biu)(2)](2-) anions (biu is the biuret ligand), with s quare-planar coordination of the Ni atom, and almost linear diamminesi lver(I) cations. The cations and anions are stacked in a columnar fash ion along the a axis. The packing is determined by intermolecular hydr ogen bonds involving the cations, anions and water molecules.
