Abstract
Two C atoms from two phenyl groups and one C atom of the 2-methyl-1,2- dicarba-closo-dodecaborane cage in the title compound, C15H23B10P, are bonded to the P atom in a pyramidal arrangement. In the carbaborane m oiety, the C-C bond length is 1.702 (6) Angstrom; lengthening of this bond is discussed.
