M. Liu et al., ANTICANCER AGENT CHLOROQUINOXALINE SULFONAMIDE, Acta crystallographica. Section C, Crystal structure communications, 50, 1994, pp. 2032-2033
The crystal structure of the antitumor agent ino-N-(5-chloro-2-quinoxa
linyl)benzenesulfonamide, C14H11ClN4O2S, has been determined by X-ray
diffraction methods. The geometry around the S atom is distorted tetra
hedral. The quinoxaline ring system is almost planar with a dihedral a
ngle of 84.4 (2)degrees between the phenyl ring of the sulfonamide gro
up and the quinoxaline ring. There is an intermolecular N-H O bond of
2.966 (6) Angstrom.
