Ma. Reveley et al., IMPROVEMENT OF ABNORMAL SACCADIC EYE-MOVEMENTS IN HUNTINGTONS-DISEASEBY SULPIRIDE - A CASE-STUDY, J PSYCHOPH, 8(4), 1994, pp. 262-265
Sulpiride treatment improved both the abnormal asymmetric saccadic eye
movements (SEM) and the abnormal involuntary movements (AIMs) in a pa
tient with Huntington's disease (HD). However, sulpiride corrected the
abnormalities of SEM in the right, but not the left, hemi-field and t
he degeneration of the left striatal tissue was greater as visualised
by the magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scan.
