Gf. Schwartz et Sa. Feig, MANAGEMENT OF CLINICALLY OCCULT (NONPALPABLE) BREAST-LESIONS, Obstetrics and gynecology clinics of North America, 21(4), 1994, pp. 621-637
The management of nonpalpable breast lesions bears witness to the corr
elation of cognitive and procedural skills, cooperation between physic
ians, and the technical achievement of contemporary medicine. Screenin
g mammography is discussed because of its role in the discovery of cli
nically occult breast lesions. In addition, needle-guided biopsy, ster
eotactic ''core'' biopsy, and ultrasound-guided biopsy are described.
