Wp. Liu et Qp. Liu, STUDY ON THE RETENTION BEHAVIOR OF PLATINUM METAL-COMPLEXES IN REVERSED-PHASE HIGH-PERFORMANCE LIQUID-CHROMATOGRAPHY, Fresenius' journal of analytical chemistry, 350(12), 1994, pp. 671-673
The separation and determination of Os(IV), Ir(IV), Pt(II), Ru(III), C
o(II) and Ni(II) complexes with -methyl-2-benzo-thiazolylazo)-5-diethy
laminophenol (MBTAE) was studied on RP-HPLC. The effects of methanol c
oncentration, pH-value of the mobile phase, column temperature (T), to
tal flow rate and foreign ions on the retention behaviour have been in
vestigated in detail. It has been shown that the logarithm of the capa
city factor (ln k') is in linear relation to the methanol concentratio
n of the mobile phase and the reciprocal of the column temperature (T)
. The six complexes can be separated within 30 min in a methanol-buffe
r system.
