Abstract
A dithymidine N-methoxyphosphoramidate was synthesized and incorporate d into oligothymidylate analogs. The analogs form less stable duplexes with poly dA and poly rA than the corresponding ''all diester'' oligo mer. The instability is more pronounced with poly rA than with poly dA . The analogs were found to be highly resistant to nucleases.
