The Theis solution is one of the most widely used ground-water flow so lutions for the prediction of drawdown caused by a pumping well in a c onfined compressible aquifer. This paper extends the classical solutio n with the consideration of information uncertainty of aquifer paramet ers. The goal is to present a simple and practical theory that can be easily utilized by practicing hydrogeologists.
