Abstract
The substrate activation behaviour of pyruvate decarboxylase from germ inating seeds of Pisum sativum is characterised kinetically via stoppe d-flow measurements and discussed with respect to other species, The i nvolvement of SH-groups in this process is demonstrated by reference e xperiments with chemically modified enzyme.
