Abstract
In this article we show that, when the direct coupling between antenna s is very weak, the limited support, on which two microstrip patches l ie, can be the source of an important parasitic coupling. We consider also the influence of the dimensions and the shape of this support. Th e theoretical results and the measurements are in a very good agreemen t in the validity domain of the method.
