CROSS-FLOW FILTRATION - INDUSTRIAL APPLICATIONS IN ENOLOGY

This article describes the industrial experiences of crossflow filtrat ion applied in oenology. After a short report on the filtering media ( the microporous membrane), they are investigated some important techni cal-constructive points which usually are not analyzed when discussing about the crossflow filtration technology. Each application claims a particular engineering attention: the filtering membrane is necessary but not sufficient to achieve the maximum goal in the industrial appli cation.
