Abstract
Cyclohexanone monooxygenase from Acinetobacter sp. NCIMB 9871 can be i nhibited by bicyclic thiolactones. No evidence was obtained for enanti oselective inhibition of the enzyme using this class of inhibitors in enantiomerically enriched form. This evidence supports the supposition that there is a single active site for this enzyme.
