spectrum was controlled and broadened by two monolayer etalons in a re
generative amplifier, and a stretcher-compressor system based on the O
ffner triplet with two cylindrical mirrors and two gratings enabled hi
gh-efficiency energy extraction and the generation of nearly transform
-limited pulses.
