Abstract
The investigations have been performed on the decomposition of atenolo l (AT) in substance and its ethanolic solutions, subjected to thermal decomposition and ultraviolet and visual radiation. The conditions for the separation of decomposition products by thin-layer chromatography have been elaborated. Seven decomposition products have been isolated and identified.
