Investigations on low pressure mineralization in the microwave system
are presented. Animal tissue, flour, milk powder and infant feeding fo
rmula were mineralized using a mixture of nitric and perchloric acids
under previously established optimal power and duration of microwave i
rradiation. Zn, Cd, Pb and Cu were determined in mineralized materials
by differential pulse anodic stripping voltammetry. The reliability o
f the applied procedure was tested by analysing international standard
reference materials.
