The paper provides several examples of rigorous formulation of redox t
itration curves. All available physico-chemical data of a system consi
dered are employed, and no simplifying assumptions are made. A new, ge
neralized notation of the electron balance and an iterative computer p
rogram were applied for this purpose. The approach proposed enable: a)
to construct titration curves and the plots of log[X(i)] vs. fraction
titrated PHI for different species X(i), b) to formulate the reaction
s proceeding at any stage of the titration together with their efficie
ncies and c) to locate characteristic points on the titration curves.
