Abstract
The problem of specular reflection and diffuse scattering of a line so urce noise is analyzed. The results can be used for the prediction of the A-weighted sound pressure level and the A-weighted sound exposure level for a single train. The latter can be used for calculation of th e equivalent continuous A-weighted sound pressure level when buildings line one side of a track.
