Abstract
Organochlorine levels in red mullet (Mullus barbatus) from Greek Water s were examined. Multivariate analysis revealed highest pollutant valu es at the northern sites in spring. Seasonal variations of organochlor ines seemed to be consistent with the reproduction process, which infl uenced lipid content; age of fish played also an important role in org anochlorine accumulation.
