Abstract
A series of experimental researches or, unsteady heat transfer between gas and solids have been made in an adiabatic bed, used in a new plan t of cryogenic recycling of tired tyre. The gas-solids temperature pro files with different bed length levels and a wide range of Reynolds nu mbers are presented, and from which a Nu-Re correlation is obtained. B ased on the results, a new mathematical model is proposed. It would be clear that the model as well as the experimental results are useful f or both theoretical research on unsteady heat transfer and design of c ryogenic recycling plant.
