The stability performance of HTSC composite tapes with dynamic stabili
zation was studied. By comparing it with the energy of the possible di
sturbance in magnets, it was found that the stability performance of H
TSC composite tapes with dynamic stabilization could be comparable to
that of their low Tc cryostable counterparts. Because twisting and tra
nsposing might degrade the high current-carrying capacity of HTSC mult
i-core composites, the unnecessity of twisting and transposing was als
o discussed.
