The HTSC (YBaCuO) thick-film (d= (5-10)10(-5) m) fabrication technolo
gy has been used to create the new versions of planar and volume flux
transformers (FT) designed to operate in conjunction with HTSC rf and
dc SQUIDs at 77K. The super conductin transition temperature and criti
cal current density of FTs are measured to be T=90-91 K, j=10(3) A/cm(
2). It is found that the HTSC FTs do not cause the intrinsic SQUID noi
se to increase in the frequency range greater than 20 Hz. At f<1 Hz, t
he noise increases by a factor of 1.5-2.0.
