In order to recover photodegraded low density polyethylene from greenh
ouses and solars, it has been physically modified by blending with EPD
R, bitumen or atactic polypropylene. Thermodynamically compatible blen
ds were selected by DSC and dielectric spectroscopy studies for moldin
g into hydroinsulating sheets which exhibit useful properties.
